Research & Safety Guidelines
The following exclusion criteria are provided as standard research-use guidance. Compounds are listed under their primary research categories; individuals meeting any exclusion criterion for a given compound should not proceed with research involving that compound.
Weight Management
- Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
- Personal history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
- Personal history of pancreatitis or gallbladder disease
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
- Known hypersensitivity to any GLP-1, GIP, or glucagon receptor agonist
- Type 1 diabetes or history of diabetic ketoacidosis
Metabolic monitoring: Regular metabolic panel, HbA1c, and lipid profile monitoring is advised during any research protocol involving metabolic compounds.
Longevity & Mitochondria
- Personal history of active or recent malignancy (within 5 years)
- Uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions (unstable angina, recent MI, severe heart failure NYHA III/IV)
- Known mitochondrial disorders with severe phenotype
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
Beauty & Skin
- Active skin infection, open wound, or inflammatory dermatosis at the intended research site
- Known hypersensitivity to copper peptides or any formulation component
- Personal history of keloid or hypertrophic scar formation
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
Cognitive & Focus
- Personal history of seizure disorder or epilepsy
- Diagnosed bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder
- Current use of MAO inhibitors or other potent serotonergic agents
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
Growth Hormone-Related
- Personal history of active or recent malignancy (within 5 years)
- History of intracranial hypertension or papilledema
- Uncontrolled diabetes with proliferative retinopathy
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
Performance
- Uncontrolled hypertension (resting BP persistently above 160/100 mmHg)
- Moderate to severe renal impairment (eGFR below 45 mL/min)
- History of priapism or conditions predisposing to priapism (sickle cell disease, multiple myeloma, leukemia)
- Current or planned pregnancy, or currently breastfeeding
Universal Exclusion Criteria
- Individuals under 18 years of age
- Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- Severe unmanaged psychiatric conditions with active psychosis or suicidal ideation
- End-stage organ failure (cardiac, hepatic, renal, or respiratory)
- Active substance use disorder requiring medical intervention
